What about Joomla! 1.6? 1.6 was pretty short lived, basically a trasition between 1.5 & 1.7, 1.7 being a transition to 2.5! Yes, I know. Confusing! I have skipped 1.6 because if you upgraded, you should be on 1.7 already and even if you are not, these tutorials should help you along with 1.6 just as well as 1.7 and since 1.7 is really the beginning to 2.5 (meaning that it can be easily upgraded to 2.5 and the two seem very similar to the average user), for the purpose of these quickstart guides, 1.7 guides should work just fine for 2.5 users.
